Josiah

Josiah is now completing his junior year at Rift Valley Academy. During this year his "home" came to him when his parents moved from Nairobi to Kijabe and joined the staff of Kijabe Hospital. Making the change from a "dorm kid" to a "station kid" has had its challenges, but it has also had plenty of advantages - including homemade brownies when his friends from the dorm come to visit!

This past year he has continued to work as a sound technician for student assemblies, drama productions, and campus worship services. A highlight of the year was his selection to the Junior Varsity rugby team. Unfortunately he broke his collar bone during the first game of the season and had to sit out most of the season. He did get to play the last two regular season games, however, plus a "friendly" after that.

He is now in the midst of his "college search" and is interested in pursuing a career in engineering. Drop him a line if you have a good school to recommend!
